Hi Families,
This week we've been visiting a few different picture books from the Book Fair.
Today we began reading Library Lion, by Michelle Knudsen. Tomorrow we will finish it. Try asking your child to retell the story to you.
On Friday we will be reading a silly story called Sloppy Joe, by Dave Keane.
For reading workshop this week we have been reviewing strategies for figuring out difficult words. For example, one strategy is to look at the beginning and ending sounds in a word.
